The South Carolina Gang Investigators Association is a professional organization composed of criminal justice professionals from throughout the state. They are dedicated to the prevention, intervention, and suppression of criminal threat groups, extremists or terrorist groups, and outlaw gang activity throughout South Carolina.

      The organization facilitates the free exchange of criminal intelligence, provided professional training, and offers expertise from years of working in gang enforcement and testifying in court.

      The association encourages the development of new and innovative techniques, criminal prevention strategies, laws, and technologies that will aid criminal justice professionals in the identification and investigation of gangs that commit crimes.
